Service to the community is a core principle of ALC Rabat and the American Cultural Association. Our Community Service Program (CSP) is the heart of our community outreach. We also offer study scholarships to both individuals and groups, language and vocational training to refugees living in Rabat, language courses to local artisans through the ETII program, and premium track scholarships to promising young students active in our collaboration with Brainlyne study abroad program.
Our Community Service Club meets weekly and its 50+ active volunteers are engaged with a number of associations in the Rabat-Salé area, delivering workshops, support services, and friendship to people in need.
Environmental action and support of rural communities play an important role in the club. The center also actively engages with its neighbors to build a supportive community network.
ALC Rabat is delighted to collaborate with university students from Burkina Faso by offering scholarships for English language studies.
