ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS

Overview

As a member of the American Cultural Association, ALC Rabat sponsors performances and exhibits, clubs, and other events in support of arts, sciences and culture, general education, environmental activism, and more.

ACA–ALC Rabat Music Tours

Every year, we welcome renowned American artists to perform across our network, sparking joy, dialogue, and creativity. This year, three incredible acts will tour Morocco:

  • Joel Holmes & Co. – genre-bending jazz & soul (October 19, 2025)

  • ARKAI – classical meets electro (January 17, 2026)

  • Mega Ran & DN3 – nerdcore hip-hop power (April 4, 2026)

    TWIZA

    Our annual art-for-English exchange: artists lead a workshop, and join an English course in return. Now in its 4th edition!

    National Visual Arts Competition

    Open to Moroccan artists 18+. This year’s theme is “Currents”, exploring water, change, and unseen forces. Finalists exhibit in Casablanca. Plus, don’t miss the “Stormy Surge” collage workshop coming this December to inspire participants.

    Battle of the Bands

    Young bands compete live in November. The winner goes on a national tour in April–May 2026. Energy, talent, and local pride on stage! Open to all.

    Emerging Voices

    Screenings + Q&As with Morocco’s rising filmmakers. Five award-winning short films on identity, memory, and belonging.

    CLUBS

    Our weekly clubs are a fun way to practice English while exploring shared interests. From reading and music to games, sports, and culture, there’s something for everyone!

    Joining a club is a chance to improve your language skills, make friends, and take part in ALC Rabat’s lively community. Many clubs are free for students, and each one offers a unique experience.

    Check out the full list of clubs and sign-up sheets in the link below. Remember to meet the level and age requirements. Some clubs start in Week 1 of the term, others in Week 2—and you’ll hear directly from your club leader by email once things kick off.
